It’s a real shame I need to list my beloved Z4MR. My wife is no longer able to work from home and I have to do the school runs so I will need to find something with 4 seats.

The car has a full history mostly through BMW main dealers and a few specialists, including service stamps from the Munich Legends. I have a folder full of previous MOT’s, invoices and the car has 2 keys. It has also had the all-important pre-delivery check and running-in service.
Work carried out in the last 12-15 months:
• King Racing Bearing Shells and ARP Bolts. Munich Legends I've timed the replacement of these perfectly and should be good for another 100,000 miles
• Vibratechnics Engine Mounts (gear changes are silky smooth now and very engaging with great feedback)
• Replaced Upper Chain Guide as precaution as these are known to fail
• Replaced VANOS with new
• Inspection II service - Previous owner didn't realise the last service was also an Inspection II just 18 months prior, so it's had 2x Inspection II's in a row. I did an oil change also 1000 miles ago as i like to change oil every few k miles.
• Valve clearance carried out
• Gearbox and LSD oils replaced.
• Hack Engineering Viton CPV Seal as precautionary as the original seal is also known to fail.
• New rear diffuser/undertray as old one had a crack.
£3,000 for the above and the engine is fully refreshed for complete peace of mind, it feels strong, new, and pulls like a train.
Car also has fitted Eibach lower springs and I have the original springs should you wish to revert. Based on the age of the car it really is in good condition, it has stone chips as you would expect, small paint peeling on passenger mirror and two alloys could do with a refurb but are in no way bad - otherwise I would have got them done.
The car has had about £12,000 - £14,000 spent on it over the last 2 owners which is why I bought this one as I knew it would not require any mechanical work for years. Below is a list of some of the work carried out in 2020:
• Inspection 2 carried out at Dick Lovett BMW Bristol– all clear
• New rear brake light unit (cracked)
• Replaced boot struts
• Fitted ZHP gearstick
• Fitted Genuine wind deflector
• Replaced M badges (stickers)
• 4 wheel alignment
• Replaced wiper blades with Aero’s
• Replaced LED number plate bulbs
• Fitted interior LED lights (white)
• Updated navigation software
• Fitted Stubby aerial
• Fitted genuine Schnitzer Pedals
• Refurbished and fitted ABS pump (known fault with warning lights)
• Purchased genuine CSL alloys
• Fitted 4x Michelin Pilot Sports 4S
• Refurbished the steering wheel button surrounds (peeling)
• Hardwired Bluetooth music streaming
The induction noise from the 6 individual throttle bodies and S54 engine note is to die for. It really is a driver’s car and drives beautifully, especially with the Eibach lowering springs, CSL wheels, engine mounts and ZHP gear stick with the added wind in your hair makes it pure heaven.
Priced cheaply for forum members. I want this car gone quick so I can start to look for an f80 bmw, otherwise there a good chance I change my mind and just buy a cheap 3rd car.
FREE PARTS you get with the car.
A set of OEM back boxes with the baffled removed
Car hood cover – keeps your hood dust and dirt free
Stock Air box
Stock springs
Extra paint for touch-ups
£15,500. The CSL Alloys with rubber and Gruppe M induction would sell or £3k on ebay. Meaning, if you find yourself a set of stock Z4MR wheels and tyres for £500-600 - this car would only owe you about £13,500!!
Any test drive / inspection welcome the car is mint!
I hope that’s fair. Appolgies in advance for typos. Any, questions call or whatsapp 07843 275 043
