The photo is Lady Grace Carr Wynn-Newborough and companion at Black Ascot 1910, called Black Ascot because Edward VII had just died and everyone was wearing black... George V was next

1994 was Black Ascot for me, as I dropped my brand new Honda Fireblade turning into the entrance of the racecourse. I was not happy

You can have three, 2 back, one front or even two front one back. Then there is quads of course.
Simple fact is, no matter how strong you are, once you reach a certain angle gravity is going to win.

I don't qualify as I only had scooters, I've been knocked off, fallen off and I once had a car pull up beside me and a guy leaned out the back window and sprayed something at my face.. luckily the visor caught it!

Dear Comrades,

It has come to my attention of more recent times that the ear conditioning on many motor cars can, on occasions, emit a volume that appears to be rather excessive such that it may be perceived as anti social. Additional to this, when the ear conditioning appears excessively loud, is there an correlation betwixt more noise equalling more power.

With kind regards,

MAD

Mmmm, as an optimist I would have put the visor up hoping it was alcohol.

Dear Comrades,

Having of recent times paid frequent visits to Ebay, Piston Heads, Autotrader UK et al, it does appear to me that Z4 35is models are no longer selling with the rapidity that once was the case. Indeed, prices appear to be dropping and yet the machines have still not found new custodians. I am beginning to wonder whether this is a phenomenon, or just the natural process of those of whom have priced their machines too highly, discovering that market forces are impacting their perceptions of the true worth of their machines?

With kind regards,

MAD

Dear Comrade Mad,
Are we (and by we I mean the singular first person) presuming that said Z4 E89 35is' have been potentially. nee intentionally, overpriced in more recent times? Is it possibly an up-shot of market forces, or blatant profiteering, per chance?

I made the classic mistake; turning the handlebars too tight, letting the clutch out without giving enough throttle. It stalled and I an the bike went down. Extremely embarrassing. I didn't realise how strong I was as I pulled it back up within a second and rode off. Sold the bike the next week, as it was damaged goods.

Send me the bank details “PLEASE” I can’t take much more of that dribble
Dear Comrade Chippie,

I am just so terribly sorry to advise you that you have created an brobdingnagian catachresis the magnitude of which has possibly never hitherto been viewed upon this illustrious Forum dedicated to the magnificently transmogrifying exemplar of Teutonic efficiency to wit, the BMW Z4 Thaumaturgical Dream Machine.

I would conclude by confirming that it is in actual fact pure unadulterated drivel that I write, not dribble as you have erroneously stated; essentially, dribble is saliva which dribbles out of an infant child's mouth, or something performed by a footballer 'dribbling' a football inordinately slowly; an exemplar of which was that performed down the left wing by Penelope Prendergast at Wembley during the Cup Final of last year betwixt Manchester United and Rotherham Rovers, which, ultimately she passed to Brenda Smith who headed the ball straight into the top right hand corner of the goal-mouth of Manchester United, thus enabling Brenda to be entered within the annals of history as the first female to score the winning goal at a Wembley Cup Final. It is my understanding that Brenda is be knighted for this most auspicious of occasions, this will occur once she has had undergone a gender change from female to that of a male, which, I am advised, is to be performed at an Harley Street clinic later this year, the cost of which is to be settled from the profits generated from the sales of Brenda Smith Ice Creams, the marketing campaign for which is set to be launched on the First Day of November this year.

With kind regards,
