I’ve not sold a car privately in over 20 years

I’ve had a request for the vin number and Reg number to do checks and insurance quote.

Is this a genuine and reasonable request would you say.

Jim the PM request is from me and I can assure you it's genuine - I just want the VIN to verify the spec (unfortunately you are no longer able to get it from the reg) and the reg is essential to sort out insurance. Cheers

Jim I just wanted to say thanks for a thoroughly pleasurable buying experience. The car is now back in S13 after a very enjoyable 6 mile trip home and I look forward to adding to the 58k miles over the coming months and years.
