Its because they are installed..most testers ignore it, some will put it on so it looks like they are doing the job properly, nothing to be concerned about
if its got tits or tyres..its trouble :D

As far as I'm aware, the under trays installed note means the MOT tester was unable to inspect a part of the vehicle without removing said undertray (which they cannot do)

There is limited choice on these cars so you will have to travel to find exactly what you want or it could be a very long wait.
Agreed happy to travel but can only make weekends unfortunately, he does seem to be fair he said I could walk away if not as described

I will spend the next few days biting nails and stressing then see what I do on the day :o

Thanks Probocop and Mr Tourettes

I have seen a few more and it does look like some testers add it and some do not, maybe I am too cautious and should just roll the dice

Put a post out asking people close by to go and have a look at it on your behalf - most of them on here will be pretty tough on any car, at least if someone volunteers at least you will have an idea if its worth travelling

Thanks everyone for all the help and advice ....I have got one :driving:

Big thanks to Zulu4 you were so right no lag in the auto so I got one

57 plate 50000 miles I had to up my budget £8250 but think I did ok :tumbleweed: drives great........ but the journey begins, likely needs many bushes, suspension (Coils have been replaced) etc but it is as old as my son  and I have a few years left in me

What a car it is so quick and sounds great, missed several junctions and turns on the way home, some on purpose some because well you know :D

Garden > driveway was supposed to come first, it will come....... but not this weekend :driving:

Again thanks everyone, this wont be the last post as I start to get her back to her youth.

Congratulations.
Looking very nice. As you say, the garden needs to become a drive if that's where it'll live. Not good all that damp going up into it.
In the meantime, may you miss many more junctions in your search for the longest route home.

Always happy to help if I can.

If the forum helped you, why not help the forum back. Thats the Z4 way!

Well done, and welcome to the exclusive 3.0si Auto club. We only accept the best candidates. 😉

You are right, it really is a quick car for an auto. It changes gear as quickly as I could in a manual.
