BMW Z4 2.5 SE 2003

[

Regrettably i need to put my Zed is up for sale. I have only had the car 12 months but I have spent much time and money improving the car.
2500 ltr straight six 97K 2003 (53 plate) 5 speed.
11 months MOT
I do not have the service history before 2016 as it was lost when the previous owner purchased the car in 2016. The car was regularly serviced by the previous owner and i have done the following work in my ownership.
Battery.
Brake pipes changed.
Brake calliper.
Oil, gearbox, diff oil and brake fluid changed.
Ball joint arms N/S & O/S.
Tracking.
Wheels changed and are in very good condition with four matching Nexen Tyres with 5mm tread.
Genuine BMW M Sport weighted gear knob ( it does improve the gear change).
Third brake light - Clear
Hood motor relocated to boot.
Hood in very good condition with no tears
She runs extremely well and pulls strongly.
Lovely car

£3395.

Hello! Nice looking car, I’ve been on the hunt for a 3.0l but this sounds like it could also work. I’m interested in finding out a bit more info if you don’t mind:

- Do you mind providing the Reg so I can view previous MOT history? Were there any advisories on most recent?
- where are you located?
- do you have any more photos, particularly of the rear of the car?
- could just by the photos but the interior dash trim looks a cream colour... is this right or is it the same silver of the door handle?
- you say there’s no service history pre 2016... what service history exists between then and now?

Thanks in advance - look forward to hearing from you.

Hi
Registration RY03 AUE
You will see when you look up the MOT history there was work done for last MOT and there are some advisories to the steering. I personally think the tester was very harsh on the car as I could find little play in the ball joints and seeing there had been no advisories on the previous three MOT'S. Other than the dreaded brake pipes it seemed hard bearing in mind how little the mileage the car has done. Ultimately the car needs to be safe so the work has been done.
As mentioned the car was serviced when I had it, oil change, gearbox and diff oil changed. Air filter was relatively new. The car has been serviced annually from 2016.
More images attached of rear and interior which includes the changed third brake light . Dash is brushed aluminium and interior pick shows the M
Sport gear knob I fitted.

Thanks Dave, all very helpful. If I’m being honest, I’m a little hesitant due to the lack of service history with the car. I’ll give it some thought over the weekend and let you know if any more questions.

Hi Niall
No problem and I understand. It is a lovely car and as already stated had a lot of money spent on it over the last few years. There are plenty of receipts after 2016 with a lot of work done by Autobahn in Halesowen a BMW independent specialist.
Where are you based?
