335D Touring! I had one until last September. You will not be disappointed. 0-60 in under 5 seconds, overtaking ability that takes your breath away and all the while giving nigh-on 50 to the gallon (unless you're really bored).HU51A_FU wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 1:59 pmBeen looking at the BMW 340i or M140i or a 335D/i Touring...mr.tourette wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 1:03 pm bittersweet sale I'm sure, just make sure you get a family bus that you can have bit of fun in when you're (rarely ) flying solo
Has more torque at idle than most motors do at max!
And all this in a diesel estate with loads of luggage space and some ingenious ways of using the luggage net etc to maximise usability.

I do love a dirty diesel, my mates got a remapped 535d 2009 touring, just over 400bhp and 600ftlb and it pulls like a train!enuff_zed wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 8:20 am335D Touring! What year was yours and what was the tax like? Servicing bills?
Thanks!

67-plate. Got it brand new on PCP seriously discounted as it was a failed fleet order. For comparison, it should have cost nigh on £50k, but if i'd paid in full and kept it, it would have been around £36k. Just lucky to be in the right place. Went in looking at a 120d and came out with that instead for nearly £100 a month less!HU51A_FU wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 12:58 pmI do love a dirty diesel, my mates got a remapped 535d 2009 touring, just over 400bhp and 600ftlb and it pulls like a train!enuff_zed wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 8:20 am335D Touring!
