Roof Motor Relocated
CDV (Clutch Delay Valve) Delete
The roof motor has been relocated to the boot – this is essential on these cars to prevent the motor from failing, which happens when the motor housing fills with water in the factory location.
The CDV (Clutch Delay Valve) has been deleted/removed – this gives a much nicer and smoother gear change, and helps prevent the clutch from wearing out prematurely.
It has a custom stainless steel exhaust fitted – this was made by Infinity Exhausts and comes with a lifetime guarantee as shown on the receipt. It is a fully silenced exhaust, so not loud at all, only fitted as it is much better quality than the original.

RBM also gave the car a once over/health check and commented on how good the car was condition wise, even mentioning that the engine/gearbox area was very dry and free of oil which is often not the case.

There is a lot of history and paperwork with the car; reading through it makes it quite apparent that it has been very well maintained and has had anything it needed regardless of cost. Some of the most notable work is listed below (all carried out by specialists or dealership):

In addition to the above, it has a full and comprehensive servicing history carried out by BMW dealerships/specialists.
I had the car professionally cleaned and machine polished in January 2021.
Bodywork is in very good condition indeed. There are a few stone chips on front bumper and bonnet which is to be expected with age (pictures make it look far worse than it is), a very small mark at the bottom edge of the front bumper, and a light mark in middle of rear bumper just below the boot, but no dents or major scratches/grazes. The Individual Ruby Black paintwork looks amazing in the sunshine. Alloy wheels are unmarked having been refurbished a month ago.
The interior is in very good condition. A small amount of wear on the edge of the driver’s seat bolster, and some wear to steering wheel, but other than this it is very very tidy, with new genuine mats recently fitted which really finish it off.
Everything electrical works, air conditioning nice and cold, there are no fault lights on the dash, and the car drives beautifully, wanting for absolutely nothing.
The original springs, wheel bolts, red third brake light and number plate light units will come with the car.
In summary, this is a very nice example of a manual 3.0si Z4, in a rare colour, with all the big jobs and preventative maintenance done, recently serviced, brand new premium tyres, wheels refurbished, and some nice upgrades.
Asking price is £7,750.
