No disrespect and not trying to place a negative twist on your post on here, however - looking around, there's a few comparables, one such as:

viewtopic.php?f=41&t=123933

Yes, it's done less miles, but has an issue or two to be potentially resolved (window regulator; tyre refresh etc).
Not sure if the above is cheap, or yours is a bit too heavy on pricing?

Best of luck with the sale
That was my coupe on the advert, I was very surprised at the ask nobody expressed interest on here..it was a very honest advert probably too honest but I can state the car is brilliant just doesn’t get used...everything has a price and the price is what someone is willing to pay ....the op’s car could well be worth the ask I certainly think at £5790 mine was very well priced but nobody expressed interest so I have taken it off sale on here and will pursue a higher price as from what I see available and prices been asked I see no reason it won’t fetch more as it’s a lovely car in drive and looks if someone came and drove it they would just buy it, and the tyres are fairly new and matching....anyway good luck with the sale OP

JamieZ4C wrote: Sat Sep 05, 2020 11:09 am I wish how many left was an accurate source of information. But it isn't. In fact it's wildly wrong. For a start, many coupes were simply registered as a 3.0si with no reference to the coupe. So it's missing those.

To get an idea of the true numbers, you have to look at the vin level data. Have a look here... http://perso.numericable.fr/tonyz4c/index30si.html

Select coupe and UK and you will see there were 2,189 made for the UK market. You can then drill down further by colour, transmission, etc.

OP your car is one of 339 silver grey coupes built for the UK. With a combo of silver grey/black oregon leather, it's one of 164. Add to that the brushed aluminium, it's one of 130, and manual it's one of 87.

So there you have it OP. You have one of only 87 silver grey, black interior, brushed aluminium trim, manual 3.0si coupes ever made for the UK.

Now that's rare
Thanks for resolving that JamieZ4C, I’ve often wondered why the howmanyleft information was so wildly different to other figures quoted on forum discussions. That data set you’ve linked to is great. Now I have 1 of 17!

    - thanks Mr Wilks
Thanks for the kind comments & I'll take the points on mileage, but its a 13year old car....thus should have 130k on the clock, therefore the mileage is reasonable. As has been discussed, cars of this ilk may require works spending on them. So whether you buy one which is a bit cheaper and needs fixing, the buyer will end up at a similar, if not higher price....and as we all know our time is a more valuable factor. To address the sniffing, yes, there has been much...just the wonga didn't show, once a price had been agreed :headbang: ...p.s. if people never ask, they may never know  happy motoring people :driving:

I know it's a Coupe, but I think sales of any 2 seater seem to tail right off once we get to the cooler, wetter and shorter days we are having now.
Unless they are cheap.

I struggled to sell my Coupe last December until I priced it very low. Here's a link to the thread:- viewtopic.php?f=41&t=119180

At the time I thought I had done well selling it before lockdown, but as soon as that ended prices shot up!

Anyway good luck.
Coupes because stunning!
Current - Silver Grey MC, Imola Red heated Nappa & carbon trim. Aeros, H & R Coil-overs, 224s, OE Strut brace, Nav, cup-holders, DSP Hi-Fi, pdc, cruise, MFSW, no CDV! E90 330i daily
Gone - Montego Blue
Gone - Ruby Black

IMO you sold that very cheaply. It’s much less than I paid for mine in the summer and a real beauty. Lucky sod whoever got it.

The 10k per annum doesn’t really work here as there are many more on the market under mileage than over. Range between 20k and 150k with most at 60-90k. I’d say you’re not that far off the money now if you’re prepared to be haggled down a bit. Even so, as Mr Tidy says, you’ll do well to sell it quickly now the winter is setting in. Good luck and I hope you find the right buyer.
