Hi all,
For sale is my E85 Z4 2.5 SI which I am marketing sooner than I anticipated having only owned it 2 months. The mileage is currently 108,731, but will rise daily. Sadly I am using it more than I anticipated for work, and so I have decided that it is not best suited to me and I ultimately need to get a more practical diesel.
The car is of a good specification being the desirable SI model, and has the following specification:
1) Heated sports seats
2) Rear parking sensors
3) Auto sensor lights and wipers
4) 18" MV2 wheels
5) Multi functional steering wheel
6) Cup holders
I brought the car from a fairly local independent garage, and up until the garage (serviced at 106,421) that I purchased it from, it has full BMW Service History (13147, 28135, 43617, 63824, 86981), with the exception of that carried out by the trader. Two original keys and service key present. MOT until 29th April 2021.
Prior to my ownership, it has had two previous owners.
I am afraid that I do not have any paperwork to support the works undertaken, but it has had various bits carried out under warranty by the supplying garage and so within the last two months it has had the following:
1) Vanos solenoids replaced
2) Rocker cover gasket
3) Oil filter housing gasket
4) New radiator fan
5) New rear coils
6) New front wishbone bushes (I had these replaced by PMW Chelmsford).
It is a 12 year old car, and so there are a few marks, but generally the body work is in good condition, and the alloys do have a couple of small curb marks. It is missing the 2.5 SI badge on the offside wing, but this never bothered me too much, and I was undecided on whether to debadge the nearside, or badge the offside. Internally the car wears its miles rather well with limited bolster wear, however, the drivers seat does show a bit of compression, however, it is still very comfortable, and the steering wheel does show some wear on the top.
The electric roof works well, although the motor has not been moved, however, I was not too concerned since I garage the car. The roof fabric is okay, there is a small hole above the driver, however, it is water tight to my best knowledge, so this did not bother me. On the headline there is a small rip behind the seats, however, these are discretely located and I believe is wear and tear from using the roof.
The tyres are budget. non runflats all round. The fronts are slightly perished, whilst the rear were new from the supplying garage. I did push to get better tyres, however, the garage cited Covid-19 as an issue in obtaining a rear set of premium non flats. The previous rear tyres were Bridgestone Potenza run flats, however, were low on tread.
I have tried to be as honest as I can in this description, and I may well part exchanging it, but I would prefer to sell it to an enthusiast.
The car is located in Colchester and I am seeking £4,350 OVNO.
