I’m lurking and looking for the right car, I wonder if this has the aux port? I can’t seem to work out the pattern as to which do and don’t.

I'd be amazed if a 58 plate didn't have the aux-in socket.

My 1st Z4 was built in October 2006 and had it, my current one was also built in October 2006 and has it.

My 2nd one was built on 18 September 2006 and didn't, until I found it had been retro-fitted in the glove-box rather than the bottom of the dashboard (after about 6 months of ownership)!

My car is a fairy early June 2006 model which had cruise control retrofitted and also has an AUX. Based on what I've read now I suspect the latter is also retro-fitted. You couldn't tell the difference and from looking at kits, they are both very cheap mods to do so if you're in the market for a car like this then I wouldn't let this worry you. If you're more into bluetooth there are a number of mods you can do but they can be a bit more involved. I just fitted a GROM BT3 to mine after 3 years of ownership and I don't think the AUX will have much more use now!

Yes it does have Aux input
