Hi, not received anything? Just checked my spam and not gone there.

Morning,

Email received & replied... let me know you’ve got it

I’ve decided that if you don’t want the car I’m going to keep it for now, so won’t be doing a for sale listing here. I’ll let fate decide :driving:

I was considering an Alpina, but it transpires that the service history isn’t as first claimed sadly. I was also considering an E89, but the one I had my eye on has sold.

If you have this, I’m probably going to go for an E88 (125i) as it would be nice to be able to take my kids out occasionally

I highly doubt you’ll find one this good at this price, but I suppose it depends on whether you like the style of the car etc as it’s obviously all down to personal taste

Sincere apologies to the OP, but I’m withdrawing my car as an option for the time being.

I work for a global bank who made a major announcement about a restructure with the loss of circa 35,000 jobs worldwide earlier today :(

Facts are sparse internally at the moment, but as my role doesn’t directly generate revenue who knows.

On this basis, now’s probably not the right time to be throwing caution to the wind and ‘selling up’ to invest in an Alpina or an M Roadster as a weekend toy.

My little old Z will be keeping me company for now :)

Sorry to hear this. Shaky times perhaps, but hopefully your job is secure. Holding onto your Zed is a good idea. There will be plenty around in the future for you to choose from when the time comes :)

Thank you,

Hard to say right now, but I’m very well qualified for the specialised area I work in, so I’m happy now that I put in the many hours of exam study over the years!

I love my current Z, so it’s not a hardship to keep it.... it just feels that it would be a bit reckless to sell an exceptionally nice & sorted car now, in order to buy an ‘unknown quantity’ for more money that may then itself need more money putting into it.... when the short term future is potentially uncertain.
