Bargain 35??

For £5K, it’s about what I’d expect of a heavily used 10 year old car...and could make a cheap project car for someone...if it stays at a low price.

Heavily worn interior (drivers seat, scuff on drivers door panels, etc.), 400bhp, broken windscreen that he could get replace cheaply through his insurance, flat paint, and “no test drive without full money” would put me right off.

You’d think they’d put a bit of effort into preparing it for sale though.

If the car is as described then 5k seems cheap to me. It would sell for way more in the auctions the trade buy from.

It sold previously on 25th Aug for £5300

Chances are it will be relisted again.

Call me cynical, but I'd suggest he wants more than £5300 and has either bid on it himself or got a friend to do so.

They have then won the auction, as no genuine bidders have bid and then he has cancelled the transaction and re-listed in the hope that someone will bid at least the minimum he will accept.
