Hate to say this but the private market is completely dead, Ive been trying to sell mine for 2 and a half months dropped price 3 times and only v low offers

Several comments on this and my last thread saying that it's well priced, open to sensible offers or advice if it's overpriced

Absolutley! Current seller seems desperate to get shut though so dont see much of a hit being taken if he puts it up at the original ask

I've put over £1000 into this car since I bought it, I'd like to get a bit of that back hence the increase in asking price. I can drop the price a bit further if someone is keen to view, but given all the bits needed have now been sorted it should have increased the value a little? What price would you recommend?

No no not saying anything mate think it's a great price for a lovely car as others have said though people seem to be struggling at the moment sure it'll sell soon!

Can I ask how many previous owners recorded on the V5 please?

Any signs of previous bodywork repairs? Orange peel/colour mismatch etc?

Any chance of a photo of the drivers seat/seat bolsters please?

You mention £1,000 has been put into the car, what’s been done?

Have you started getting the replacement service book stamped up yet?

Is the car HPI clear?

Number of previous owners is 3 or 4 I believe, I'll check the V5C when I'm next near it.
Bodywork - some orange peel / slightly more matt area on the corner of the bumper where it's likely had a bit of a corner rash
Drivers bolster - you're in luck! I was going to say I'll get this at the weekend as I'm not at home but I managed to get the wife to take some pictures.
The things done to the car include: detail (about 450 from memory), RTABs (200), tyres (200), battery (100), new MOT and I'll be having it serviced and the rear brake pads changed shortly too.
I have written up the replacement book but not had the chance to start posting it out to be stamped yet.
The car is HPI clear.

Thanks for the update and the extra photo’s.

We’re mulling over a few options at the moment, but my other half is really drawn to this colour combination.

We nearly bought a coupe from the forum earlier this year, but my partner’s dad became seriously ill, and sadly died. The timing wasn’t right then, but we’ve moved house now and have a garage again ...so we’re actively looking.

I’ll get back to you.
