3.0Si Roadster Manual
Hi all. I'm on the hunt for a 3.0si roadster with a manual gearbox. Would be great to buy from an enthusiast.

3.0Si Roadster Manual
Hi welcome to the forum and looking for an E85 3.0si - well done can't better a roadster in my view
I'm keeping a tight grip on mine but if you haven't already done so have a trawl through the sales section. I see you were looking for red or two tone interiors but in reality you might have to make a value judgement about how much you want that compared to other options.
I keep saying that for the roadster top of the (well mine anyway) 'must have' list is electric; heated Msport seats - combined with the volcano like cabin heater these make the E85 an all year round day or night drop top. The 3.0si tend to be better spec-ed than other models (since most things were an option).
If you can find one with heated Msport electric seats, xenon headlights and MFSW you're well on the way. Cruise, roof motor relocation and change of gear knob are quick, cheap and easy mods - if you fall over a low mileage clean example with the first three options I've listed I'd grab it and use it
Happy hunting! ..... oh and I'd edit the title of the thread - I almost sent you a link to the E85 handbook

OP, not sure if you are aware of not, but there are two trim levels for the 3.0si. Sport and SE.
Sport is most desirable with M Sport seat, steering wheel and suspension. The SE as standard has none of these but can be specd with them. It is in fact possible to have an SE in full Sport trim

Many thanks for the responses and advice, its much appreciated.
Having now viewed a few cars I'm relatively open to any colour interior, but definitely want the heated sport seats (I've seen a few with sport seats but no heating).
I had hoped for the 108 alloys, but wondering if they will be more effort/cost than they're worth.
On mileage i cant decide whether a low miler that was only doing 5k miles a year and therefore only serviced (by some owners) every 2 to 3 years is really that more desirable than an average mileage that was serviced every 12 to 18 months.
On condition, I'm not put off by a bumper with "road rash" or alloys needing a refurb (as long as the price is right), but damage (not average wear) to the interior is a big turn off for me.

As you have probably discovered the 3.0Si manual roadsters don’t come up for sale that often compared to the coupes.....that tells you something right there. One thing you might not be aware of is that some 07 and all 57 and 08 cars benefited from the N52K engine which had some fairly significant enhancements over the original N52. Seek those out if you can.

Great choice - the 3.0Si is a terrific engine.
But it looks like the UK got less than 1,000 3.0Si Roadsters, which includes SE models and Autos so you may need to travel!
Good luck finding the right one.

Hmmmm well maybe I have the ideal spec and currently debating to sell and move to an E89 or keep for another year. Mine has only done 57k miles, but is my daily, so someone wanting to make it a garage queen would be ideal.
56 plate, face lift, 30.Si M-sport. (265 ps engine) 6 speed manual, Sapphire Black, red leather interior with electric heated M sport seats. M sport wheel and gear knob. Cruise control, premium audio with sub woofer, CD changer, rear parking sensors. Xeon headlights with new brighter bulbs fitted. Piano black interior trim. Only thing missing of note is SATNAV, which is easily bettered by a smart phone or a TomTom. Also fitted with 108 wheels, hard top available and winter wheels.
Modified with Scorpion stainless steel exhaust, the ideal fit as I believe, M-Tec grooved and cross drilled discs all around, they are excellent, BC racing coil overs. K&N panel filter. Full service history later ones at an independent BWM specialist.
If I can find a nice E89 35i or iS I could be persuaded to sell and move on.

I'd be snapping at 9designs heels if I were you! That is a rare spec and a bit of a bargain to boot. Bet you won't see another one come up for sale like that within the next 6 months.CharlieBrown wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 12:57 pm Thanks for the replies i will check out the new advert on here and also the FB group.

Hard to argue any of those points , if you scan the marketplace just finding a sub 70k Si roady will keep you busy , finding one under £8k pretty much impossible , add in the add ons & it is most definitely somewhat of a bargainph001 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 2:48 pmI'd be snapping at 9designs heels if I were you! Absolutely, the 3.0si is a superb roady, easier and cheaper to live with than an M with oodles of useable power.mr wilks wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 2:58 pmHard to argue any of those points , if you scan the marketplace just finding a sub 70k Si roady will keep you busy , finding one under £8k pretty much impossible , add in the add ons & it is most definitely somewhat of a bargainph001 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 2:48 pmI'd be snapping at 9designs heels if I were you! 3.0Si Roadster Manual
Hi,
I've got a 2006 3.0si M Sport roadster in Titan silver with rare Syrah Blue individual leather interior. It has electric, heated, memory M Sport seats, MFSW, recently refurbished 108's in gun metal grey centers with silver lips. Roof motor relocation, new M Sport leather gear knob and genuine mats. AUX jack socket. Rear parking sensors.drilled and grooved discs. 12 months MOT. Just turned 130k with part service history. It's in great condition for the year and milage and drives great. It's had 7 previous owners but I put that down to the seasonal type of car it is rather than anything untoward. I bought it to run along side my daily driver but have found I'd rather have one all rounder than two cars that cover different bases. One coil pack failed a few months ago, so I replaced all 6 coil packs and all 6 plugs to be on the safe side. It's a 6 speed manual.
I'd take £4200 for it. Based near Northampton.
