Manchester to Somerset isn’t that far. Worth travelling for - Lynchy went from Dartford to Edinburgh for his M, and I am sure others have gone farther. This one looks to be really keenly priced, like his was.

It's a 45 quid flight from manchester to exeter or bristol. You may not need a return. We went Edinburgh - Luton. Didnt book a return but i had checked availability in case.

Has the car had any further servicing or maintenance in your 3 years of ownerships?
As it reads to me, it's long over due a Service 1, and potentially a Service 2 for peace of mind..

It had a insp plus shims in late 2016, I'd need to double check which insp this was. Will update this tonight

Last service was an insp 1 with micro filter and shims all checked and reset to tolerance. These will not need doing on insp 2

Tangotop did you receive a sheet detailing the cars new shim tolerances, from your last insp 1?

To confirm. The car has a valid MOT certificate?
So only needs Tax + Insurance, too drive home?
Or would I need a trailer, to take it home on the day of viewing?

I see you have included much more detail in your original posting. And too me it sounds like a much loved garage queen, that needs a little work!
So it's definitely a car that interests me.

Hi it does need an mot.

The car is in good condition etc just needs some bits doing.

I do seem to recall a shim sheet. I'll have a look tonight. It was all done at reddish in Bristol who know these engine inside out hence why I took it to them
