Z4 coupe

Post by Needanothercoupe » Thu Dec 27, 2018 1:06 pm

Hi, I am seriously looking at getting another coupe, just recently sold one so I have an idea about the ownership issues, my preference is blue, grey, silver, but will look at other colours like black, green etc if the car is higher mileage be good if it has had the waterpump changed, a decent service history would be nice but hey can’t have everything in life but yes some evidence of been cared for.

Manual or automatic

I’m in the process of selling an Audi TT Quattro sport so cannot just head straight over to buy but my sale is imminent, please drop me a message on here or in private if you think you could have what I am after.

My budget is circa 7k

Hi
I’m giving serious consideration to selling my black coupe, here is the spec
94,500 miles FSH
Waterpump change at 94,000 fitted at M-Teck
Gasket change at 94,000 fitted at M-tech
New rear Michelin Sport Pilot 4 (pair)
New front discs and pads fitted by M-Teck
I’m the 5th owner and I have 2 purchase receipts from the previous owners, 1 had only 6 months, both payed £10k+ for the car
Good receipt collection
Oregon red interior (not heated)
Sat nav
No parking sensors
Folding mirrors
I live in Northampton if it’s any benefit to you?
I meticulously maintain the car
I would be looking, after all the money spent on it £7700 for the car.

Nearly nearly right, heated seats are definitely needed or my Mrs won’t use it also parking sensors, we got the tts the day we sold the z in London to the Swedish guy, so she is happy in that but she would want the above to use the z occasionally, appreciate you messaging and never say never but it seems not quite there for our needs, good luck with it though.

Hi
Appreciate your response
That’s ok
I’m not actually advertising it for sale but if a forum member was after one I would consider letting it go
I actually did not notice, for some reason that my car did not have rear sensors
My plan was to sell it in 2020 and get a BMW 1 series 3.0 or if my budget allows, a saloon m3 (again) or an M2?
Anyway, hope you get what your looking for
Kind regards, James

I have a 56 plate Z4 Coupe manual Si Sport. Has 88k with full history, BMW and last one specialist. Silver with blue/black individual interior, heated seats, rear parking sensors, cruise control and heated seats. I adore the car and have been in a quandary about whether to sell because I need an 'everyday' car as my company car is going back in January. To be honest I am erring on keeping it but interestingly had been considering a TT quattro sport as an interesting alternative. Is it the 240 Sport and if so, worth a conversation at least?

Hi, I have an Audi TT Quattro sport 240 in avus, it is more than a great car, it is however a cat d, I can confidently say any drive or inspection would confirm how good it is, a guy in Germany is wanting to buy it but has to make arrangements with his employer to travel,

The cat d arose from a slow speed dink on a garage forecourt stupidly a claim was made

Reg number is BU05XGY

The qs is currently on eBay, I can take more pictures and any inspection is welcome, it is a stunning example my 4th tt, but I love the coupe and am missing the one I recently sold, my partner just transferred the qs into my name as she got a rather nice tts, she used my z whilst I use the quattro but now she has the tts we had to swap ownership as she now insures the tts.

We have owned the qs for 12 months, it is a great car but yes a cat d therefore really it’s a keeper in my opinion as cat d is not an easy thing to sell in the uk, into Europe is entirely different as no register exists.
