wasim_flat6 wrote: Tue Nov 20, 2018 4:25 pm Hi all,

I am putting my Z4 Coupe up for sale and would like to offer it to forum members before it goes out on Pistonheads and autotrader t, as it would make me happier to know it had gone to another forum member. It is an absolutely lovely car and in a great colour combo and specification.

I am putting it up for sale at £8,600

Overview:
- 2007 Z4 Coupe 3.0 Si
- 77k miles,
- Full BMW service history until the last major service, which was done by BMW specialists BM-Tec
- Fresh MOT to be carried out prior to sale.

Specification:
- Automatic gearbox with wheel mounted paddleshifters
- Piano lacquer dashboard
- Electric adjustable red leather seats
- BMW Business soundsystem with factory fit subwoofers behind seats
- Multifunction steering wheel
- Cruise control

Upgrades:
- CSL-style 19" wheels
- Matching Toyo Proxy T1 tyres (non-run flats)
- Bilstein B8 dampers
- Eibach Pro-Sport springs
- Powerflexed front arms
- Retro-fitted red leather M-Sport seats (fully electrically adjustable with memory setting)
- Stubby aerial
- angel eyes with xenons much better looking and give superb vision at night time

Overall the car is in very good condition for a car of its age, with only a few very minor stone chips or age related marks. It has no known mechanical faults and has been very reliable during my ownership

I still have the original BMW springs which will be included in the sale if desired. The two rear springs were replaced at the time I bought the car by the trader selling the vehicle, but I immediately swapped them all out for Eibachs which were 10mm lower and eliminated the arch gap when I fitted the 19" wheels.

The car drives beautifully and smoothly and everything works perfectly. It makes a fantastic daily driver with the auto box making for very chilled progress in traffic and surprisingly good fuel economy (I get circa 25 mpg in city driving and low 30s on a run), whilst the paddleshift and suspension set up makes it a very effective and engaging car to drive on clear country roads when the opportunity arises.

The only negative point is that three of the wheels would benefit from a refurb as they have been caught in a few places.
Other than that the car in in fantastic condition overall, with all the right paperwork and some well researched and professionally sourced and fitted upgrades. The car was also detailed by polish and glow 2 years ago hence the paintwork looks amazing

It has been the best car I have ever owned and I am only parting with it, as i have now bought a new weekend toy porsche cayman s

In the 3 years that i have owned it it has been faultless i have replaced the waterpump and had the automatic gearbox transmission serivce done as most z4's 3.0si witht this sort of miles usually is recomended.

anyone interested can give me a call on 07557057545
That’s a lovely clean Coupe
The paintwork looks great and the interior looks superb
Great looking car
Bought one myself last year, same colour combo but not the same spec
£7900 is about the right price for now

Ok, since I've just driven one I'm sold. Some questions. Does it have both cup holders and do they work? When you had the b12 kit fitted did you replace the top mounts? How long ago were the lollipop bushes replaced? When were the brakes last serviced? Which radio is fitted?

Many thanks

Jon

I was wondering if it had parking sensors and heated seats, but my Quattro isn’t shifting so looks like I’m audied up for a while although winter is not a bad time for Quattro, nice looking z on this advert I’m surprised it hasn’t gone on the top picture alone, I do think you need a few quid in reserve when buying one of these so a few odd jobs to do should be accepted, if it needs absolutely nothing doing it should be more money so swings and roundabouts....get it bought :D

If i had the money I would be knocking on his door, I’m guessing the fella gets busy I pm’d the other day but no response so be patient

I don't think it has heated seats, I cannot see the buttons on the internal picture, but I don't k ow about parking sensors.

I meant to look for the buttons on the picture, I definitely want heated seats as the Mrs will use it occasionally and no way will she without heated seats, but as I mentioned I can’t sell my qs anyway

So, it's not a car your Mrs would allow you to buy and you haven't got the readies available even if it was, but if you sell something and leave the Mrs it could be. Classic dilemma 8)

I can do what I want, I’m my own boss, I’m not sure if you are clever, busy or humorous as this is just words and I’m sure you are been humorous, basically as we bought a new motorbike last week it kind of took up some money, so would need to deal the Audi but hey I’m happy in the Quattro proper good motor just miss my z so does the Mrs but she encourages not discourages anything, I’m having a bit of a chat about a nice looking car, it should sell just fine, also not doing the seller any harm by keeping his for sale post alive.

I’m more fussed about my rehabilitation after my stroke and riding my beloved motorcycle, but no doubt about it I love z4 coupes and the black one on here looks fantastic it needs buying asap.

No dilemmas here :D
