I am the selling my Z4 coupe, the car has low mileage with a very desirable colour and spec. I have thoroughly enjoyed owning this vehicle from 32,000 miles and have enjoyed 3 years of hassle free miles.

This car has full BMW service history and I have maintained BMW extended warranty during my ownership. Car is unmodified, totally stock, albeit non-run flat tyres have been fitted (Goodyear Asymmetrical 3).

New front & rear tyres were fitted within the last 1000 miles, plenty of tread, tracking and alignment has also been done. Alloy wheels also benefit from being professionally refurbished September 2018 and are mark free.

From new it had a BMW front strut brace fitted. I have removed this but is very easy to fit back in place and will be included with sale.

What is your location?

Full service history? Seems a daft question, but I've enquired about a few cars to find the full history is far from it. People aren't having an oil service every two years.

When does the BMW warranty run until, or are you paying monthly and can't transfer?

Is the car being sold with the short MOT?

From what I understand the BMW insured warranty is something anyone can carry on as long as the car has been maintained in accordance with the service schedule and the work has been carried out at a VAT registered garage.

The car is being sold with the MOT, which expires 16th December 2018.

I can get a quote which usually means there is no running warranty. I take it the warranty has expired?

The warranty can be restarted. The only issue is going over the 60k threshold when the policy starts means the cost jumps a lot. Also a claim can't be made within the first month.

I'll keep my eye on this if my other cars don't work out.

My insured warranty has just recently come up for renewal, however, I have decided not to renew as I am selling.

Obviously the insured warranty cannot be transferred, but as you stated it can be restarted at any point. That's the personal choice I made when I purchased the vehicle because it had full service history. I would say though I have found the insured warranty good for piece of mind, and was worthwhile for the coil springs and fog light replacement.

If an annual warranty is purchased it can be transferred. Montly payment warranties can't.

Warranty and a longer MOT would be huge selling points at this price for me.

I was not aware a yearly policy was transferable, thanks for the info.

As for the current MOT it expires mid December, I am more than happy to undertake a new MOT, to be valid for 12 months from the test date.
