Mine is on the original bearings too but at only 55k I'm not too worried about it. That and the fact that the service periods have always been half what BMW recommend (the proper Castrol TWS 10W60 every 5,000 miles without fail).
The boot floor thing gets a lot of debate over on M3cutters but my personal take on it is that many of the problems start when corrosion sets in on the spot welds and weakens them. It is a design floor as well obviously in terms of loading but nevertheless I've made a habit of re-undersealing the boot floor area every year for the last 8 years. No sign of cracking on mine that I can make out but as hopz says, you really need to remove the subframe to do a full inspection.
