E89 Z4 35i DCT
Hi all,
I’m in the market to buy an E89 Z4 35i DCT after owning a 2.8 Z3 for a few years and wanting a tiny power (100hp ) and mod-con upgrade.
After struggling to find one in the right spec/price in the North, is there anyone selling one up here?
Must-haves:
Less than 60k miles (might consider less than 65k - if immaculate)
Full service history (with stamped service book / or invoices to prove work)
Dent free (minor paint chips/scratch's will consider)
DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission)
Cruise control
Heated seats
Preferred:
Major service items done and recent MOT
Colour - Deep Sea Blue/Black/Silver paint
Leather - Ivory/Black/Red
Comfort access
Heated steering wheel
Ideally I want to pay 13k-14k, but can stretch within reason dependent on spec and condition of car.
Further to the post, am I being unreasonable with price/expectations? Or is it just summer prices/impatience?
Apologies if I’ve broken any rules with this post, as I hope to make many more after joining the club!
Kind regards,
Beeacon.

I've just had to get insurance quotes for my Z4 which is very similar to the spec you're looking after - the 'market valuation' tool that I used put it at £15-somthing k so I don't think you're far adrift
When I was window shopping on Auto Trader I noticed that there weren't an awful lot of 35i models for sale - might be something to do with it being the summer and in the middle of good weather...

Last year paid £16K for mine its a 2010 and only had 29000 miles so I don't think you are far out, they are a bit few and far between
so its difficult to get the exact spec you want, it took me a few months to find one I was happy with, I was particularly looking for San Nav and cruise control but didn't want adaptive suspension.

Thanks for the reassurance guys, and you have a really nice example there Gaffa22. I’ll just have to be more patient it seems!
Thanks,

Hi Punter,
Thanks for posting. (Un?)Fortunately I went today to look at another forum member’s car which was in excellent condition and I’ve nearly bitten his hand off to buy it. In a few weeks I’ll be the proud owner of a lovely Deep Sea Blue Z4 35i with black interior and a devilish amount of power.
I’ll make a proper introduction when I pick up the car, but for now you can have a peek at these two photos I got (ignore the dirty civic behind, I don’t know who that belongs to )
Kind regards,
Beeacon.
