appreciate people want the 3.0ltr, and correct me if I have this wrong, but the difference in performance between this car and the 3.0i is negligible.
yes if your going 3.0si I can see the difference being noticeable.

Have you tried a 2.5si ?

If i was looking for facelift 6cyl Z4 roadster the small difference in BHP wouldn't hold me back from pursuing this one .

Yea, very little in it performance wise between this and a 3.0. A bit more in it if you are looking for a 3.0 SI but then they are a lot more expensive.

I drove a 2.5Si and a few other Z’s and enjoyed the 2.5Si over the 3.0i and the M.

The only reason I went for 3.0i was preference on looks, price and default spec (leccy seats)

It’s a lovely engine that can be fully wrung out in each of the first few gears and enjoyed, and not worrying over going crazy speeds.

Good luck with the sale!

This. Having driven both you really have to be driving at the cars limits to notice the difference. Don't get too hung up on it.

I had a 2.5si and whilst leading a run when we stopped the driver of the ///M behind commented he had trouble keeping up at times.

As others have said in the real world the difference isn’t that noticeable, so many other factors to take into account.

A bargain for someone - it's hardly been used!

And as well as having heated M-Sport seats it's got parking sensors.

I only wanted a Coupe, so I could only have a 3.0Si (or an M)! But my latest daily is an E91 325i so has the same N52 engine and I think it's great.

After all it's not down much on power compared to a pre-facelift 3.0i, and the N52s do like to rev! :)

Having driven both 2.5si and 3.0si I think you’d be stupid to dismiss it because its the baby Si engine. If I hadn’t have bought a coupe this week I’d have snapped this straight up. Someone is gonna get an awesome car 👍
