Can someone have a look at this ad please?
Description says it's an SE, but it looks like it has sport seats (heated), steering wheel, wheels and bumper?

So that car has, Sports Seats and Steering Wheel

18inch MV2's

It also has an Aero front bumper and Areo side skirts

It looks like a sport to me, or has at least had most of the sports bit fitted.

The front drivers side headlight needs looking at though and fixing!

Not many red coupes out there.
Seems reasonably priced for the spec and mileage.
Could be worth a look.

looks a nice spec car, not seen a coupe with the aero front before, quite like it

I don't understand these dealer adverts without any detail though, how hard can it be to write how much service history, recent work done and owners it's had

That looks a cracker for the year / miles / price & with the aero skirts + front bumper is pretty unique .
Getting hold of the vin will confirm all via www.bmwvin.com , it stands like a Se but appears to have anthracite headlining which would indicate Sport spec .
Certainly worth investigating & in all honesty Se or Sport with that car is of little relevance , , if it appeals get after it , some AUC E86s on 50k are £13k & over

I saw this too and enquired about it. Unfortunately only has service history up to 2012 & no other paperwork for work done.

Given how few Red E86s there are it doesn't look dear to me!

I could live with any SE if it had M-Sport seats and decent wheels.

id like to say don't flap, another will come along but that was a rare thing at very reasonable money , don't think ive ever seen a E86 with a aero front bumper

really suited it imo

Agree the car looked fabulous but purely out of interest - would people on the forum have taken a punt even in the absence of any service records from 2012 onwards? Just interested in people's perspective.

8,10,12 yr old cars , multiple owners you really need to get your toes in front & judge any potential car as it currently stands , looks , runs & feels . Yes of course a fully documented history book is always desired but from my own perspective i wouldn't let gaps put me off , fortune very often favours the brave & reality was the car above was noticeably cheaper than the market would suggest it should have been .
Could well even turn up at a dealer as it wouldn't have looked ott at £2k more imo

There's a black one which has been advertised everywhere the past fortnight just been reduced from 12k to 10k.
If only it had red leather.
