For Sale: 2006 Z4 Coupe 3.0si Manual Sport – Montego Blue – 53K miles SOLD

Post by Gehil » Thu Jan 25, 2018 1:02 pm

Hello all, the time has come to part with my beloved.

I have had her for about one and a half years and have loved every day of owning it, but with getting married on the horizon and looking for a house I need to have a more sensible and boring car. The Z4 has been my main car so since 05/2016 I have put just in over 10,000 miles. Decided to post on here for a couple of weeks before posting elsewhere.

Here are the details:

2006 Montego Blue Z4 3.0 Si sport Coupe
Currently 52856 miles
• Inbuilt Sat Nav (professional)
• Bluetooth Phone Kit
• Heated Seats
• 6 CD changer
• Rear Parking Sensors
• M Sports leather Seats
• M Sport Leather Steering Wheel (Multifunction)
• M Sport Suspension
• Bi-Xeon Headlights
• Hifi Speaker system
• Rain Sensor/Auto Wipers
• Auto Headlights
• Auto climate control
• Warning triangle and first aid kit
• Seat adjustment, electric, with Key memory
• Interior trim strips, Alu Cirrus
• Headlining anthracite
• Headlight cleaning system
• Tyre monitoring system
• Two keys

The car has been very well looked after with barely a mark to be found on the car. Since I have had it I've had some servicing done on it.

Alternator replaced (05/2016)
Battery replaced (05/2016)
Oil service (04/2017)
Wheels renovated (09/2017)
Brake discs and pads replaced (11/2017)

MOT due May 2018,

Asking Price is £10995, car is currently located in Crawley West Sussex, viewings welcome.

Cheers For looking Leigh.

Ok as I haven't been on the forums alot I cannot PM however I will reply on here.
  • I have had it since 05/2016.
  • As far as I know it's still the original paint. Not been resprayed since I have had it.
  • Not spotted any rust.
  • Water pump hasn't been replaced.
  • Nothing needs doing as brake discs and pads were the only thing picked up in BMW Inspection.

Lovely looking car OP, and some desirable options too.

FWIW "barnyg" just noticed from "tonyz4c"'s database the UK only got 11 Montego Blue Coupes with Cirrus Aluminium trim like yours (and mine and barneyg's)!

Good luck with the sale.
Coupes because stunning!

That alu trim is so good, surprised more weren't sold with this. The standard Alu trim isnt a touch in comparison imo!

Really lovely car GLWTS

So the zed has made it onto ebay (hell of alot cheaper than autotrader). Its hard to let go as the long the sell goes on the more I think I want to keep it.

Well make your mind up quick - otherwise you may soon be looking for another (how do I know)?

Nice looking car, but I wouldn't be comfortable spending that sort of money on a private sale with only 3 months MOT remaining. A fresh MOT gives reassurance to any potential buyers. It also gives a degree of protection to the seller against subsequent claims that the car was sold with faults (I'm in no way suggesting that's the case here).

I'm sure it would be £40 or so well spent...

Not necessarily, as long as the car has a full service history, I wouldn’t be too concerned about a winding down £40 MOT on a £10k+ car. You only worry about those sorts of things on cheap bangers.
