Arch rust like that must be quite rare on these is it not?

They are getting on now (12 year old car) and my particular car has been used to commute 365 days of the year for the last 4 years. The government's desire to completely cover our roads with salt at the first sign of a cold snap has taken its toll.

Good thing is the wings are removable and this could easily be repaired however I just don't have the time to get that done.

Never knew that with these. If only more cars were the same, would make rust repairs/panel replacements ridiculously cheaper.

BMW Z4 Coupe 3.0si - Price Reduced

Post by Roundozo » Wed Mar 07, 2018 7:54 pm

Price reduced to £6300 now!

Additionally this price reduction is also because I'm the most unlucky person in the world. 70 miles from home, driving through a forest and a bloody branch falls from a tree and does this! What are the bloody chances! It's small and would come out with PDR but I just don't have the time!

Hi there, new member but long time admirer of Z4 coupes. Looking to buy this year and have been monitoring this forum for the last 6 months to educate myself. Very interested in yours and live relatively local (Stubbington, nr Fareham).

Guessing I can't PM you because I'm new, are you able to PM me?

Hi mate, been lurking for a little while and interested in your Coupe, not too worried about the rear arch rust, do you have any pics of underneath the car / what is the condition like? Assuming rust is confined to the wings I don't really have any issues with that (don't mind a bit of work replacing them, as others have said there seem to be a few on Ebay (assuming price direct is fairy expensive)), also have a friend who owns a spray shop so would probably end up re-spraying the entire back end anyway (and possibly front bumper) to be honest.

Hi Muld,

I have a potential buyer coming to view her this weekend. I like to honour the order of enquiries but if they decide they are not interested or offer a low figure then I will let you know.
