Much of the time it was invisible but getting on the power corner exit, including fast sweepers, there was a much better sense of connection between the throttle and the rear end. I didn't use it for powersliding but it was better off the line and more fun to drive in general.

It didn't have major traction issues but as a handling mod it's still worth it. My new car though really needs one...

That must be 'up norf' - Birds prices to supply & fit the Quaife are around £1650 (inc VAT), supply only is around £1100 (inc VAT)

Indeed, do tell where at that price?

I was hoping to get one later this year for closer to £1,300 either by getting in on a group buy or negotiating with Birds as a returning customer.

Hello all
This looks like a great car and I see that it's still available, and I could be interested in viewing it.

Does anyone have any idea whether the mods will have a big impact on the insurance?

I'm 51 with full no-claims in a low crime area so am low risk but I'd be interested to know if anyone has any thoughts on this.

Thanks all

You'll be fine.

I had all the mods declared through Aviva. They didn't charge me much but they did add a few hundred to the excess. Worth trying brokers like A Plan, Sky and Adrian Flux.

I wouldn't worry about bushes, just the big stuff like the LSD, suspension and ARBs.
