**DEPOSIT TAKEN AND CAR NOW SOLD**

******************************************************

Hi all,

So the time has come after almost 7 years to sell my Z4MC.

I have agreed a part ex against a new car I am due to collect in 10~ days, however garage are prepared to do the same deal for full cash and not take the part ex.

Price wise, I would put this at £17.5-18k in current market if I was looking to sell over time. As I am simply looking to better the part exchange I have been offered I will sell to any forum member at £16,500 but will have to complete inside a week. Car is located near Bristol.

Some details:

I am the 3rd owner and have owned the car since November 2013.
76.5k (approx. miles - still being used a tiny bit). 25k done in my ownership.
Full service history, including post delivery service. Recent inspection 2 and full health check done in Feb 2020 with respected BMW M specialist independent Redish Motorsport in Bristol. They also undertook a complete health check of the car, which will be provided to buyer.
Sapphire black exterior
Imola red interior
Full carbon leather dash
Professional speakers
Aero skirts
Car currently has RPi backboxes installed, but I have the originals as appreciate the RPi's can be a bit marmite (loud). I will throw both in so buyer can choose.
New clutch and dual mass flywheel fitted (£1.4k) @ 72k miles, Jan 19.
MOT due Nov 2020

The bad:

Wheels definitely would benefit from a refurb, as suffering from spots of lacquer peel.
Front bumper has the usual age related marks, stone chips etc.
I moved house on 31/1/2020 and posted the V5C to DVLA to update address early March. I have yet to receive my updated copy as they apparently have quite the backlog due to COVID19. As things sit right this second I don't have a V5C in my hands (hoping it comes through the letterbox any day now...) but have spoken to DVLA and there are other options to process transfer of registered keeper at this time.

More than happy to answer any questions.

Chris

As such, that gives me about 10 days to sell my Z4M Coupe for more than the part ex offer. I am awaiting a confirmation call from the garage I am buying my new car from to ok me selling privately, but seems all good to go. If for any reason the garage decide the part ex is a must in the next few hours I will delete this post.

They should be doing you a much better deal with no p/x not the same one, particularly in the current situation. They’re definitely winning out of this if you do a cash deal. I’d be renegotiating heavily on the cash deal and hopefully you’ll sell yours and you’ll win twice with cheaper purchase price and more for your own.

GLWTS

If you can be bothered, I'd whip off the RPI's and the Aero's and sell separately. It won't effect the car sale price and will realise you another £1500 easily.

I second that and would be very interested in the Aero's should you choose to split.

Not intending to split, I only have the aero skirts (bought with them on).

Won't have the time this week to swap RPi to standard, so intending to just sell with both and let buyer have that decision.

Replied to anyone who has PMed, will get any additional info requested out tomorrow.

That's probably one, shiney heck of a Car - for the £'s..

Good luck, with your sale of the car
