Wanted - E89 in Yellow

Looking for an E89 in Yellow with manual gearbox and service history. Would prefer something above the 20i but willing to consider all options. Limited chance of finding one but you never know.

2010-2013 but let me know what you have (or what you know of)

I have a feeling that yellow wasnt an option on the E89 until the 4 cylinder models were launched so you wont find a yellow one until after 2011 I think.

Have you considered broadening your options by including other engine models?

Not saying the 23i is a bad car to get at all - my dad loves his but the bigger engines may not cost as much to run as you’d think and the 4 pots can trump the 23i in terms of performance with a map.

I have virtually the same engine in my e85 and love it but perhaps it would mean finding a good yellow example a little easier.

What is your top priority OP? Yellow, 23i or manual?

I'm just thinking your search may be easier if you concentrate on the "must have" bit then consider the other factors once you see what is about.

When I began my Z4 journey I knew it had to be a manual E86, and as an M was out of the question that only left the 3.0Si! I didn't want black or silver, so that made it trickier but I got impatient and compromised as I found a Ruby Black one!

When I sold it I got seller's regret and went looking for another, and this time found Montego Blue - result!

I would have referred HellRot or Phoenix Yellow, but if I had stuck to just those 2 colours I'd probably still be looking now 2 years on.

Certainly interesting on the engine options. I know my requirements are going to take some finding but I'm fortunate enough to own a 2009 E89 23i in metallic brown with a beautiful cream and walnut interior. It has 106k on the clock but is running well so I'm not in a rush

it's the 23i model so 2.5 ltr, the same as I have now
