I'm getting the M as I like it and the next step is cruise. Followed the advice on the forum and contacted Sopers of Lincoln for the stalk and loom.
What a pleasant experience. Spoke of the forum very positively and immediately offered a forum discount. Brilliant and I recommend giving them a call for parts. To save you searching the tel no is 01522 690000. I've made a note for future use

Thanks very much Paul, I like my cruise on the 3.0si and definitely something I'll be looking to do in the future on the M.

Can't you just swap it onto your new Z Dan, or have you sold your old one now ?

I don't want to remove it from the 3.0si Fred, I'd rather just fit a new kit to the M. Not sold yet I need it for another couple of weeks but it's provisionally for sale.

There is an dealer that has an ebay store. I have found them to cheaper on certain things and Soper on others.

I would always check there first and make a note of the prices before phoning Soper's.

I'm sure they have already accounted for their special "discount" by adding on 20% in the first place.

Whatever Sopers 'add and take off' when I was looking I couldn't find a loom and stalk cheaper.

I doubt it - for two reasons. One; I've asked for prices previously then mentioned the forum and that has always generated a discount on top of the price. Two; if BMW dealers made any more margin on their products, it would constitute extreme profiteering!

I couldn't get the stalk elsewhere for cheaper. However the third brake light I could.

Could be interested. Been open to the possibility of getting hold of a coop for a while. went a bit cold on the idea recently due to this and that but urs looks tiptop. specs/price? maybe u could put up a for sale thread now to drum up some interest with a proviso that it's not available for a couple of weeks...

Yeah, have bought quite a few bits and pieces over the years, for both my zeds, and always found them very helpful and we'll priced, Marlon (and they include free delivery).

They have been dealing with the Forum for years, since Joe was there(before he moved abroad).
Always been generous with Raffle prizes for the National meet charity draw too.
Nice bunch,Marlon,as is the owner,Steve soper, the ex touring car driver

Neil white is the Parts Manager, and is always happy to help, rate them highly.

Glad to see people still using them on here :)
