Murkets in Huntingdon

Post by Jackers42 » Thu Jul 17, 2008 2:10 pm

Credit where credit is due - bought my coupe from them a year ago and was dismayed when it had 4 miles worth of fuel in the tank when I picked it up! They agreed this was bad and promised a full tank when I took it in for it's first service. Roll on 12 months...took it in yesterday for the service and picked it up last night. Full tank of fuel, full valet, courtesy car for the day and a total bill of £200. Top marks Murkets, well done!

Nice one, did you have to prompt them for the full tank or did they remember?

Either way, good to hear you got good service

They needed reminding, but there was no sign of quibbling!

Another year of coupe ownership (well, almost) and another glowing report for Murketts. This time I've been dealing with their bodyshop after a beautiful young brunette reversed into the side of me. Murkets swiftly carried out estimate, dealt with insurance and are currently replacing the door. Hope to pick it up tomorrow so will add further report!

PS Couldn't get cross with the gorgeous lady as I was lucky enough to marry her 20 years ago...

Yet more praise for this fine establishment. Car was ready when they said, first class repair to the door and four new 108's under warranty.

I go to these guys too. Adrian the head of after sales is truly a really pleasant guy to deal with.

i am dropping mine off there on Wednesday.

there is some rust developing in the channel that runs round the edge of the boot.

my z is about 5yrs 11 months old so is just inside the 6 years anti corrosion warranty. - they have seen this before as there is no lacquer coat

The region BMW guy (cant remember his name) had to come and view it too and he was really nice and helpful too.

lets see what the results are.................

The only bad thing - the loan car - a 1 series!

They no longer sell BMW's but they've retained the service rights. I use them as well, very convenient, and although Andy has a worse memory than I do  , they are great to deal with.
Cheers,
