Good service from Harry Fairbairn Irvine

Post by jamesgarbett » Thu Feb 02, 2012 3:59 pm

I bought an AUC Z4 just before Xmas, took a bit of a chance as HF is 200 miles from home.

Had the car for a few weeks, during which time a number of issues came to light.

One e-mail to HF and the next day they had sent a driver with a courtesy car and a full tank of fuel.

Took my car away and returned it a week later with a full tank of fuel.

All the following were fixed at no charge to me:

New rear discs
New rear pads
New rear brake lines
Refurbed alloys
New front fog lights
Windscreen washer bottle filter replaced
Drivers seat squeak fixed
New glass in drivers wing mirror
New seal around gear selector shaft
Broken cup holder replaced
Spare key fixed

Now whilst I wasn't happy that these issues had arisen in the first place, I can't fault the customer service, so well done HF.

Good service from Harry Fairbairn Irvine

Glad to hear you were happy with the service, but it is quite worrying that an AUC was sold and left the forecourt needing that amount of work done to it.

I use HF Glasgow (car in currently) and apart from a couple of problems with communication, can't really fault them.

Yes agreed - I think that's why they were so quick to respond, especially because of the issues with the rear brakes.

Downside is my Zed now has 400 miles more on the clock but then I did do a fair few miles in the courtesy car.

Glad HF Irvine sorted you out ! I also use the Irvine Branch it's only 6 miles away .They get some bad press down here , but have used them with my last 4 Bm's with no problems & they price match all my service qoutes from other dealers .
