Had my aero skirts painted and fitted, plus front and rear bumpers painted by these guys in Theale recently. They were on the more expensive side of the quotes I had but given their reputation online plus some recommendations from people I know and trust I went with them.
Have to say the work was done to an absolutely flawless standard and given my previous experiences with Littleknocks in Wokingham (total bunch of cowboys, don't even ask) they were a breath of fresh air. I found the contact I spoke with (Carl I think his name was) to be really friendly and knowledgable and it was Carl who actually suggested the front splitter custom job, although I had been thinking about it for a while coincidentally. My car is going back this week for some more work and I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone here local or otherwise

Quality work on your M, and while I haven't used them myself a number of friends have and all raved about their work - hell, I've seen it and always been good. Especially impressed with a friend's red 993 - he asked if the paint would be exactly as the Porsche colour - he was told no... it wouldn't look anything like the car as it was! The finish was faultless.

Re: Specialised Paintwork (Reading)
Completely agree, Specialised are great! I first heard about them from when I had several lotuses, before the Exige I had a sport 160 that was sprayed by Specialised before I got it - the whole car was flawless.
Had a couple of other jobs done there as I've found slight imperfection that I've wanted to turn into perfect, and always it's perfect - far, far better than any OEM finish I've seen, and leagues ahead of any BMW spray shop finish I've seen.
Mine is also going in there for a front end spray to get rid of some stone chips, I wouldn't consider taking it to anywhere else. Another great thing about Specialised is Karl and his Dad Alan (formerly of Mike Spence Racing) and their patience with picky customers, talking you through every step of the process they will take your car through to get it perfect, explaining the difference between a good and bad job and how they overcome common problems and how it won't be a problem going with them.
As playalistic said, not always the cheapest, but in my opinion the best value I have ever come across, at the end of the (it seems million) phone calls I have with them as I check everything before I send it in, Karl always reminds me that it's not my job to worry about it anymore, it's now his problem to take care of. I know it goes in, gets done and I have nothing to worry about - everyone else I hear about has to go back for odd little nigges at other bdy shops- no such problem with Specialised.
And it's always nice to be around there to see some of the cars they have in, from bare shell restoration E-Types up to 100% perfect GT3RS's that have just had the dealer prep bemishes removed.
Oh playalistic Karl still thinks your splitter should have been gloss

Re: Specialised Paintwork (Reading)
Just emailed these guys for estimate on the ///M sorting key scratch and various tiny chips and dents. Recommended by Blacklines when I bought the car from him so good to also read this thread. Shall report back.

Re: Specialised Paintwork (Reading)
My brother and I had our kit car painted there. They did a good job of it.
We took the individual parts there for it to be painted. We went with BMW lemans blue ( the older version of 2 ).
