+1 for Ross from me.

He previously relocated my roof motor last November and made a great job.

The weekend just gone he done inspection 2,belt change, coolant change,2 small oil leaks, transmission fluid change, front callipers and brake fluid change.
145 mile round trip for me but would highly recommend to anyone.

My sons just had his e92 m3 in with Ross for dreaded bearing shells and actuators. Very pleased with the work. Shells look like they were just caught in time. 70 something K miles.

Great news - I was supposed to be getting my Inspection 2 done next week, but Ross said he will be closed until after Easter.

Just got the Inspection 2 done on my M (with appropriate social distancing), but the main news is that Ross has now recruited another technician with a BMW background.

Glad to hear he’s still going. I’ve left a couple of good lucks for him but no response. Sounds like he’s just been really busy which is good. :D

Ross that's wonderful. I was worrying. I must admit. Lockdown has been good for me. Just as well as I can't claim anything. Lots of people making huge mistakes doing DIY. Hence why I always tell people to come to a true professional like yourself. See you in the new year Ross. And stay safe.

Had a few bits done on my E85 at RBM recently, brake pipes, poly-bushed, coil pack etc. Very pleased with the work. it is walking distance from where I live also which is a bonus.

I've put more detail in another thread (viewtopic.php?f=9&t=119564&start=75) regarding my car's latest visit to RBM , but Ross was telling me he has had a 2nd lift installed (that can cope better with low cars like some of ours  ) and is considering getting a 3rd!

Because he's now got 2 other guys working with him - I'm pretty sure they are both ex-Sytner as well.

And he's keeping very busy too. Given what has happened this year it's great to see his venture is proving successful!

Another recommendation for Ross and the team at RBM. A few weeks ago I got Ross to check all the suspension bushes and also to remove the Clutch Delay Valve. When he went to bleed the system afterwards, it was obvious that the brake fluid needed changing, so that was done as well. I was really impressed with the work he did and how helpful he was, so I made another booking for him to change the diff and gearbox oil, plus a coolant change.

So I returned to Ross' workshop last week for the additional fluid changes.

The gearbox oil was clean and golden, but I was surprised how dark the diff oil was after so few miles. While this was being done, I asked Ross some questions about the process for relocating the hood motor/pump, as I was planning to do this myself. But when Ross told me the price he charges (£150 if the motor/system is fully working), I decided that it wasn't worth the hours it would take me, and the risk of possible damage to the hydraulic lines. So this job was also performed by Team RBM.

The motor was as immaculate as I expected it to be, as the car has only done 4500 miles. What a neat and professional job!

Ross had just hired another mechanic, and it was great to see a new business thriving, especially under the current economic circumstances. Ross is only a 40 mile drive from me, so I'll certainly be making further use of his services.

Cheers Ross! :)

Another big  for Ross and RBM from me! Roof motor repaired and relocated this morning at very short notice. They are an hour or so drive from me but will certainly be heading back for my inspection 2 soon. Nice chaps and clearly very knowledgable :)

Just wanted to add my recommendation for Ross. Did an inspection 2 on my coupe Friday just gone. Seems like like a top bloke, with a very well run garage. The number of Z4's inside and out was very reassuring. Although we're both in Hampshire, it was an hours drive for me... and it's one I'll be making again the next time I need any work doing
