Pork, Strudel & Cheese With Holes - a road trip :-)

A wee while back a road trip was mooted by a few forum friends who have now moved on to distinctly non-halal vehicles. Roll on a few months and me, PVR, JaxZ4, ZermattV, and TomScott (in Tom's Dad's car) are but a few days away from starting our trip. I thought I'd start a thread so that we can share our adventures with you - PVR and I will be turning round and heading back on day 5, so I'll need one of the others to post the rest of the route which meanders on into Italy, Austria and beyond.
Day 1, Wednesday next week, PVR & son and Wee Bing & I are meeting at Maidstone services on the M20. Classy doesn't begin to describe it
We're heading down to Folkestone, on Le Shuttle, and across to Endhoven for the night. Not sure of the route, this is just a standard google maps route - I'm sure PVR knows some interesting diversions...
Day 2 we meet up with JaxZ4, ZermattV and TomScott in Venray - they will have gotten off a ferry from Newcastle that morning, hence the weird route. Lunch in Venray, and then we're off to Baden Baden - 4 porkers and some class tagged on the back, Autobahn-tastic
Day 3 we're up REALLY early for a blast through the Black Forest and up to Stuttgart. Yes, I am being forced to go to the Porker Hut, but we're getting a tour of the workshop where they nail them together so that will be quite cool. Then back to the hotel and an afternoon / evening in Stuttgart.
Day 4 is epic, leaving Stuttgart and heading to Savognin in Switzerland but going the long way past Lucerne, taking in a few of the spectacular passes on offer, including Susten Pass. This I really cannot wait for
Day 5 is when Team PVR & Bing turn round and head back to Calais - once past Strasbourg we're pretty much on motorway the whole way and it will be a loooooong drive. But we'll manage to sneak in a bit of a unique Sunday morning hoon, taking an alternate route out of Switzerland, along Lake Konstanz and back across the Black Forest, only briefly using part of the route we did the day before.
It's pretty bland past Reims, hence why the map doesn't show the rest. Wonder if we will have time to stop at that old racetrack though...
In total we will do about 1,700 miles in the 5 days. The others will do another 4/5 days and will take In Modena & the Ferrari museum, as well as the Pagani factory. But I will let them post about that.
Should be pretty bloody awesome, and hopefully we'll get a bunch of pics & vids up throughout and after the trip. As we have a professional photographer with us, there's a better than even chance that some of them will be quite good
