Summer holiday, top down!

Post by dave_alp » Sun Aug 12, 2012 9:21 pm

Had an epic road trip over the last couple of weeks in the Alpina. Having, of course, had the wheels inspected and refurbed at Platinum at Ade's recommendation - a great job, pics to follow!

Only problem was it breaking the traction control which we got fixed in Carcassonne for a few € and should be repaid by the AUC. One of the sensors on the master cylinder gave up...

It was brilliant. Here is the route:

And here is the Alpina going way above and beyond what it was designed for

And here is some great French driving, have some spare underpants at the ready at the end, I needed them...

And who said two seaters were not practical?!

All in all an excellent trip and the Alpina was amazing on its first long trip! 8)
DRIVING DAILY: F20 120d Sport, many toys
AND AT THE WEEKEND: 2006 Alpina Roadster S (because petrol is best)
GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN: 125i SE, jet black, 142s, cruise. No other fancy toys, except the straight six under the hood!!
