Probably heading up North to Thurso to visit family at some point, then expecting to be in Silverstone for the ZedFest, same neck of the woods again for a wedding, and the long one will be Le Mans for the stag do before that wedding. Think that'll cover all the big Z4 road trips for me this year.

It'll be easy to hook up at zedfest, but we really should make sure those of us going to Le Mans have a plan for at least having a beer or two

Re: 2012 Road Trip
Planning a trip down the Route Napoleon to Juan Les Pins in late May, and also classic Le Mans in July.
My mate has a part share in a flat in JLP, so we're going down in a convoy (E86 Z4 Coupe, E89 Z4, MR2 Mk3 & Caterham) to decorate his flat - each carrying a small pot of paint & a paintbrush. Gives us a great excuse to go & not take the women!

Sounds like a good idea. I'll be a Le Mans virgin though so have no intention of attempting to organise such a meet! I'll wait and be told where to meetBing wrote:It'll be easy to hook up at zedfest, but we really should make sure those of us going to Le Mans have a plan for at least having a beer or two

Monza GP for me this year. I'll take three days either side of it to take the interesting routes to and from Blighty.

Would love to go to Monza for the atmosphere - however not being a Ferrari F1 fan I might feel its a bit intimidating!BigT wrote:Monza GP for me this year. I'll take three days either side of it to take the interesting routes to and from Blighty.
