Re: Dear diary
Real pain this one and i hope there is an answer for you, i never got a straight one on my 3 series, used beam deflectors and when i didn't have them used the level adjust to lower them if i had to drive at night. Not that it affects you but i haven't had a straight answer on the e89, general consensus is that the beam is flat and doesn't need adjusting, but that is the e89! Or not.Taz x wrote:Day -4

Re: Dear diary
I changed the settings via the panel, but both retaining clips broke on one side - you have to buy a complete panel @ £7 something.Guiseley wrote:Gave up on adjusting mine through that poxy little access hole and bought beam deflectors myself!Taz x wrote:Day -4

There was two of us, and we were away for a month and didn't have that much!
Remember to leave room for some wine on the way back.
The Supermarket at Calais had a 2 for one deal on - so I got 6 boxes of wine stacked behind the seats.

Could take the passenger seat out if you're going solo - loads of spare room there!Taz x wrote:er, never thought of that, no space left anywhere now

Re: Dear diary
You'll find space for booze Depends on where you drive to but check the local vinyards, they generally welcome visitors. If you're eating out check the local wines on offer in the restaurant, they're not likely to serve up rubbish, see what you like and find the vinyard, you won't necessarily save much money but there's nothing like opening a bottle of vino at home and remembering the trip and how you came to get that wine.
