I'm heading to Spa 20th Aug. I was thinking of heading down to the Alps for a few days following. 21st to 24th. If your heading down then Could meet up for part of the run.Taz x wrote:i am going in August, not finalised any routes so will be keen to see your pics

I have just done something very similar to yours, we were in monaco the day after the recent F1. we went down through france and back up through italy, austria and germany visiting bmw world in munich and spa in belgium.
overall we did 2600 miles and my 3.0 did a brill 34 mpg average. i only use the higher octane fuel and in germay we were able to get 102 octane !
anyhow a few pics of the col de turini and the stelvio pass. truly amazing
