Liverpool to York

Post by jamesditchy » Fri Mar 23, 2018 7:49 pm

So the wife had a few days leave so we booked a house boat to stay on at the river near York. Weather was very kind to us and the quiet roads on Thursday were a joy. Roof down all day and a nice lunch/walk through Mallam Cove.

First drive out for 2018, looking forward to plenty more :driving:

Great route through Forest of Bowland and deepest darkest Lancashire. Used to live down the road in Barrowford.
Happy memories of mountainbiking and people constantly querying 'yur nut frum rewnd ere are ye?' at my vaguely scouse accent

I did Moz but Ally decided to give it a miss. Her knees weren't too good. I nervously watched her drive the car back down. Never again haha
