setting clock

I know this sounds stupid but my wife and I purchased a 03 Z-4 about 2 months ago and now with the time change I can't figure out how to change time and seems nothing in owners packet.She has the factory in dash CD.Please help and thanks. :headbang:

Page 48 of the 2003 manual:

To adjust
Ignition key in position 1 or higher:

Hours
1. Keep button 2 pressed for several seconds
until the hours are displayed and
the colon flashes
2. Press button 1 repeatedly until the
required hour is set

Minutes
3. Press button 2 to switch to the minutes
display
4. Press button 1 repeatedly until the
required minutes are set
5. Press button 2 to confirm the settings.
The set time of day is transferred to the car
radio display or appears in the instrument
cluster display.
Display mode
In ignition key position 0:
Press button 1.
The time of day is displayed for several
seconds.

yah, i started fiddling with those 2 buttons as I was driving and it flashed "RESET" which scared the heck outta me. I just stopped and restarted the car and it seemed to forget the button I pushed.....I think.

I will do it your way now.

Yeah I hadn't gotten around to changing mine yet. Was fixing to take a peek at the bible myself.

I've tried this, and it hasn't worked. Tried it in positions 0, 1, 2, and 3. I press button 2 for ages, and nothing happens.

should work, mine's an 07 and it works as stated.

Button 2 is your oil check button. Turn ignition switch on but don't start the car. Press 2, hours will start to flash. etc, etc.

Yep, that's correct, it's the oil one; but still doesn't work. Not sure why! :(

I was going to point out that in mine you have to have the time on the radio aswell to change it, but was beaten to it. :thumbsup:

on a slightly different note does anyone know if you can get the time to display if you fit an aftermarket HU.
