Hi all,
I bought a radio and Z4 fascia off a forum member and after it arrived today the fascia doesn't seem to house the din cage properly. It looks like it's 3mm too small. Is there any advice on completing installation properly? At the moment without the din cage the radio pushes forward and back in place.

Z4 fascia not fitting
you dont need the "cage" when you go with it, the plastic side bits attach to the unit it self and then it's held in place/aligned by the plastic bits. What I did was use the holes in the plastic bits to screw them to the unit at the right position, once that is done it'll then attach to the dash with the 4 screws(top and bottom and hold in place tight.

Amazing thank you Buckz. I did try that but then when I put the front fascia on it pushes the plastic bits outwards and the radio drops back. I'll use a couple of small screws to hold it into place though, that's an idea I haven't tried yet.
