Interesting to see fronts are a 'popular' failure now the cars are aging, the rears went so damned quickly it was crazy - according MOTs my car had replacement rear coils at 3 yrs 15k miles and I replaced them again a couple of years ago :o

Not broke but MOT advisory said one was corroded on my coupe so replaced both rear with Suplex due to a number of recommendations on here. Hopefully can forget about them now

If anyone else is as confused as I was when choosing the right suplex springs on eBay, link to their catalogue showing each spring code for each z4

That's the one, they always seem to break about there. Very very common unfortunately.

Are the suplex ones you linked to sided or can I just buy 2 of the same? Also I can assume the different shape of the spring doesn't matter?

Thanks for the help!

If you own a E85-86 you will have a broken spring at some point. Case closed 8)

Ahh, just spotted that eBay as says they're for M-suspension. I'll need to have a dig for standard SE ones
