Can someone do me a favour please
My 3.0si coupe is marked to have a 20a in fuse 19 but mine doesn't have a fuse in it.
Can someone check if their 19 has a fuse there or is it also missing
Car is a 2007

I need to check the fuse for the air con compressor as my a/c has stopped working. I released the clips at the top of the glove box but no matter how hard I pulled the glove box would not lower any more. Is it because I have a pneumatic strut which opens the glove box or does having an 'M' make a difference.
I did feel that if I pulled any harder something might break and the manual doesn't help as it doesn't even show where the fuses are!
Any ideas or advice anyone or am I doing something wrong?

You need to disconnect the damper too.

Thank you so much Adamski & Aquazi, really useful. I can hopefully sort out my non-functioning cigarette lighter (charger) now

A new topic would better highlight your issue.cavalree wrote:The rh button above the steering column which should should show the clock reset or the oil level indicator does not work . Any suggestions please.

Does anyone know if it is possible to access an unused fuse, does the fusebox need to be disassembled? (BMW tend to use KSK harnesses, so it is unlikely redundant wires will be present). So for example my car does not have folded mirrors so I would like to use fuse 27 to provide an ignition feed to my dash cam and/or provide some ignition fed USB charging ports.
Big thanks to Big_Al for the fusebox matrix, very useful.

I used one of these, much easier than wiring into the back of the fuse box. check the size though I'm not sure if this is the right one http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... reId=10001

Just use a spade connector and an inline fuse.

There should be a couple free each of IGN and Live. Much easier, and nicely removable!

Hi
My Z4 (Sept. 2008 2.0 sport roadster) has a fuse popping, but the fuse assignments on the card by the fuse box are slightly different to the list at the head of this thread. I've scanned in mine for info:
Mine keeps blowing fuse 10, a 5A fuse that covers the locking system, interior lights, and what looks like a thermometer. The fuse doesn't blow when the auto airconditioning/heating is 'off'. When it's switched on the fuse doesn't go immediately but seems to go as the blower starts going. I think the blower itself runs ok. What system is this fuse covering, and what component might be at fault?
MAny thanks (and hopefully the fuse card diagram is useful to others).

I have the same on a 2007 z4mc
Is that nr 19 fuse required ?
It states that together with nr 33 it's for the fuel pump, but the car seems to be running fine without it.

Nope, not fitted. If you look at the pic of the fusebox half way down on pg 2 of this thread you can see the std 3.0Si fuses... bearing in mind this is an e85.... viewtopic.php?f=2&t=104224&hilit=Bluetooth&start=15

Did you get to the bottom of the cause of this? My Zed has started doing exactly the same.
