Second that! If I try it any more I'm going to wear the motor out!dan425 wrote:I've just tried it again, still no luck.
I have noticed that the switch has two positions, the first being manual up and pull it a little further which is then auto up. (same going down. The passenger one works perfect but the drivers window doesn't. Going down both positions do as they should and it works fine however going up the first position does nothing! I have to pull it the second position for the window to go up in 'manual' mode as the auto doesn't work.
I have tried the reset many times but still no joy! Is this going to be a to the stealers?

It might be that the switch is knackered, and it's just co-incidence that it has started to play up after your battery disconnection. Is it possible to try swapping the 2 switches and see whether the fault moves with the switch or stays with the window?tom_ekn wrote:however going up the first position does nothing! See now I thought this could have been the problem but I have recently changed the switch and still have the issue!ZedFourM wrote:It might be that the switch is knackered, and it's just co-incidence that it has started to play up after your battery disconnection. Re: Disconnected Battery: Now Windows Won't Auto-Up
I tried the resetting many times and many ways but still the drivers side window didn't work. Opened in one touch but didn't go up.
AND THEN: I lowered the drivers side window about 15 cm (to the same level as it goes down when the roof is opening/closing) and closed it. It works now !
So try that !

Gah! Semi success... Driver's side is fixed, but not passenger's side!

Patience. Just try again. Reset the window and do the 15 cm lowering again.dan425 wrote:Gah! Semi success... Driver's side is fixed, but not passenger's side!
