Red light keeps flashing near roof open button

Post by gadgetJunky72 » Thu Jan 24, 2008 1:38 pm

Hi,

After fully opening my roof, i.e. the red light by the roof open button has gone off, after a bit of spirited driving the light starts flashing again as if i hadn't fully opened the roof. If I stop and then press the open button for a while the windows go down a bit and the light switches off.

The car is out of warranty which is why i'm a bit hesitant about taking it in to a dealer.

Any ideas what might be up?

Thanks

yes, it is in the middle of the boot under the rear window. It looks like a bit of plastic where a pin slides in, that is the switch
