Squeaky wipers

Hi all anyone have them? seems to be on their return to rest stroke,its not the blades(did a search but mainly got wipers not working)

mine does this too, it makes it sound like a cheap runabout! i think i'll try some rain-x at the weekend

I had this problem to. Drove me bonkers! A few drops of 3in1 oil on the wiper arm just above the nut where the print is seems to have shut it up.

i have this too excellent i'll give that a try! Another squeek is getting in and out of the car the rear wheels/suspension/brakes creak... anyone know what this is? :-)

Another squeek is getting in and out of the car the rear wheels/suspension/brakes creak... anyone know what this is?
The handbrake. mine does it if it's not fully pulled.

Yep squeak from the back is the handbrake. A known issue.

Had my offside wiper arm replaced under warranty due to squeak. After they had replaced the motor and linkage that didn't fix it.

Yup i had this too, just oiled the hinge and all has been good for months.

Same problem here too. Will try and oil the hinge to shut the minor mini-whine up. If that doesn't work I'll ask the GF to stay at home.

Just did this on ours, worked a treat. When we bought it I was worried something expensive was on the way out, so I'm very glad that this is all it is! Never come across this on any other car I've had.

I sprayed the spring underneath my wiper arms with white lithium grease a few weeks ago and the squeaking stopped :thumbsup:

I had this problem for months drove me scaty, new blades made no difference, WD40 in all the joints and it’s been perfect ever since :thumbsup:

I had same problem. I lifted the rubber seal where the spindle comes through and squirted some wd40 in .seemed to have worked
