Plastic battery holder piece?
I've just bought a new battery but it's smaller (242mm) than the one currently fitted (278).
Problem is I don't have the correct sized plastic holder, as detailed a few posts down in this thread:
viewtopic.php?t=84791
Can I temporarily wedge it in with some wood? Does anybody have the correct piece lying around, or maybe want to swap theirs with my smaller one and fit a larger battery?

Could you put the part number on here please. I've looked for this on real OEM before and couldn't find anything.

dhobbs, the numbers are:
61216911025 for 70ah
61216916634 for 55ah
I think my new battery is 60ah so will need the latter.

I think I'll be going down the hard rubber root too for now. Sounds doable.dhobbs wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 8:47 amThanks for those. I have some hard foam in my battery compartment but would like to tidy this up.steve_naive wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 12:00 am dhobbs, the numbers are:

Be careful, an unsecured battery is an MOT failuresteve_naive wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 1:01 pmI think I'll be going down the hard rubber root too for now. There's still a metal piece over the top.

True enough but there’s a bit of room for lateral movement.
I ordered from here, part 3 50/55ah (if the link directs correctly).
