Both my rear subwoofers are rattling on heavy bass!
I’m sure it’s the speaker itself rattling because if I take it off the car and I power it in my hand, it still vibrates on heavy bass.
This is driving me nucking futs, the system sounds awesome otherwise and those subwoofers are crazy expensive.
I sealed and dynamatted the enclosures, checked all screws and fasteners but nothing has worked.
Has anyone had the same issue?

Carver subwoofers rattle
Check the spider of the speakers and the cone suspension surround are glued to the basket all the way around, it could be that they have come away.
Worst case is too much heavy bass has bottomed out the voice coil and it’s now buggered.
IIRC these are 10ohm, you should be ok running 8ohm replacements.
