Took a few goes and I'm still surprised it actually worked!
Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. And yes, having tried to get my 6'5" through the gap into the cabin, you wont be surprised to find out I didn't fit. Got my head stuck in the gap for a minute before I worked my big ears out of the way. Got bloody hot on the glass! Think I'd would have struggled to convince my lad to go for it!
