My radio switches off after 20 mins, any ideas/similar problem

Is that with the engine running or engine off ?

That’s running the same as off it sounds like it’s wired to aux
When you start up it doesn’t, you have to switch it on

My radio came on one day without me touching it. It was on Radio 2 and the song was "Road To Nowhere" by Talking Heads.
I was on my way to Aberystwyth at the time. :|

I just drove the road from New Quay - Aberystwyth - Newtown. Beautiful scenery and great road.

At a guess, it sounds like it's not getting the ignition feed, much the same as if the engine was off.
Might need to get a volt meter and check the plug at the back.

Have you checked all the fuses?
3.0si roadster. Requisite stubby. Sound gen mod. LED numberplate lights. LED boot strip. Interior lights LED too. ZHP gearknob. Daily drive :driving:
Motor in boot. Bilstein B8 dampers. New radio, much better sounds :thumbsup:

My daily commute to work sends me twelve miles along the A44 to Aber. I never get tired of it, apart from the two sets of temporary traffic lights which have been there for months on end.

The A82 from Tarbet to Crianlarich had them for 30 years So think yourself lucky
