Fog light removal

Post by PDAVIES82 » Sun May 02, 2021 6:41 am

Morning All

I’m going to remove my fog lights and replace with blanks as they are in such poor condition. Does anyone know if you have to code the option out to avoid a bulb warning coming on?

Thanks

Paul

No warning lights appeared on my dash whilst I had my front fogs unplugged this week. I’m guessing you have a facelift E85 or E86. So you should be good to do the same

I put tinting film on mine which hides the internal mess but keeps the light working.

Absolutely no need to code. Unplugged without further measures when replacing the standard fl bumper with an M bumper on my previous fl roadster, no problems whatsoever!
